Start simple, 3mm plywood from Amazon works great for testing. Once you’re comfortable, you can move on to higher-quality materials.
You should choose an affordable and easy-to-cut material like plywood.
Use LightBurn’s Material Test feature to cut or engrave a grid that shows the results of various speed and power combinations. This will help you create a “Material Parameter Chart” that you can reuse easily in the future.
