New XRF: trying to understand why the machine cutting

My new XRF is not cutting out the same part at the front of machine but is cutting out the same thing at the back of the machine. It’s close but the row at the back the parts fall out and the ones at the front just cut all the way through. 3mm baltic birch plywood.

Hi Yanice

You can see that the top row is cutting all the way through, but the bottom row did not. Correct if I am wrong, after you get your new machine setup do you get to talk with someone for one section just to go over setting up the machine?

Thanks Mike

Please check to diagnose the issue:

Check the working area (Front to Back):

Move the laser head to the front and then the back of the working area and use a measuring tool (like a ruler or caliper), measure the distance from the nozzle to the platform at both the front and back positions.

Check if there is any difference in the measured distance, confirming whether the bed height is consistent.

Check Material Flatness:

Your material itself may be uneven. Before processing, you should use magnets or other clamps to hold the material flat. So please check if the front edge of your material is lifting or warping.

And, yes, you can book an engineer through ZOHO to assist you with the setup process.
