If you own a CO₂ laser, you’ve likely heard about air assist. It improves cut quality, reduces char, and helps your machine last longer.
In this guide, we’ll cover why air assist matters and how it works, and we’ll show you step-by-step how to install a CO₂ laser air assist upgrade on the OneLaser Hydra series, following Brandt Workman of Bearded Builds Co.
Anyone aware of a video like this for the XRF? I got the air assist for my XRF and sadly find the instructions that came with it lacking…severly. Quite frankly, i have had it for a month and still feel uncomfortable even attempting to install based on the instructions that came with it.
We apologize that the Air Assist installation video for the X-Series is still under production. You can refer to instructional videos uploaded by other users on YouTube.
Alternatively, you may call 626-800-4130 during business hours to describe your needs, and a professional customer service representative will assist you.
Would you kindly point me in the direction of a video specific to the XRF that you’re referring to? I can’t seem to find any. And with all due respect, the Air Assist has been available for some time, so I’m unclear why a video showing installation is not available yet. I also appreciate that you’re saying I can call, but a phone call is not going to be very helpful in the installation. It’s something that you need to really see. Hopefully, I won’t have to wait much longer for you guys to put together a video. Because, like I said, the print and instructions are simply not good.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. You can watch this video first to see if it helps with your installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbhA1dmDJtA
In the meantime, we will expedite the filming and production of the official installation instruction video.
