I’ve been cutting 3mm MDF with my usual settings (speed 13, power 74/42). These settings have always worked fine, but recently I’ve started getting flames during the cuts.
All my mirrors, nozzle, and lens are clean, so I don’t think it’s a maintenance issue.
Does anyone know what might be causing this, or what I can do to prevent the flames?
You may need to turn off Intelligent Mode so the air assist and exhaust fan run properly. Check at the nozzle to confirm that air is actually blowing out, and also make sure air assist is enabled in LightBurn.
