Engraving blurry and head hitting side after lens change

Hey everyone,

I’m running into some real trouble with my XRF. After cutting fine all last week, my engravings suddenly started looking blurry, and it stopped cutting through without any changes to my settings. I figured it might be the lens (been using the same one since June), so I replaced it, but I’m still seeing unusual darkening.

Now, this morning, the laser head is ignoring the limits, it’s trying to cut off the edge of the material and even physically hitting the left side.

Is there a software or firmware update I might be missing? This happened after a fresh startup, I always power down overnight.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure the new lens is installed with the flat side facing the bed. Also, check the limit switch blocks to ensure they’re positioned correctly. If you can’t locate them, submit a support ticket with photos here: https://zohodesk.1laser.com/portal/en/newticket

When you power on, does it home correctly or keep moving and make a loud noise? If it’s not homing right, try restoring from a previous settings backup. Sometimes hidden changes can cause movement issues, even if you didn’t manually adjust anything.
